The terms for using hushdot.com and the Hushdot Chrome extension.

Last updated: 2026-04-19

01 Acceptance

By installing or using Hushdot, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use it. These Terms are issued by Hushdot Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.

02 What Hushdot does

Hushdot is a browser extension that blocks ads, trackers, and certain intrusive page elements. It runs locally on your device. The free version is provided at no cost; a paid sync tier is available.

03 Your responsibilities

Use Hushdot lawfully. Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, interfere with, or probe the service outside of our responsible-disclosure programme. Don't use Hushdot to block competitors' content on services you operate against your users' wishes.

04 Warranty and liability

Hushdot is provided 'as is' without warranty of any kind, except as required by consumer-protection law. We're not liable for indirect damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

05 Changes and termination

We may modify the extension or the service with reasonable notice. You may uninstall at any time. We may terminate paid subscriptions for material breach, with refund for the unused portion.

06 Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
